Mara Kouides (she/her) is the artist behind Maramooks, an art & design studio centered on creativity, connection, and celebration. Mara moved back to Rochester several years ago after living in the Midwest and Pacific Northwest. She holds her Master of Social Work and worked in the field of gerontology for about 10 years. She has also served locally with LGBTQ+ local organizations.

Mara loves the daily antics of her goofy cats, exploring Western NY (& beyond), sending snail mail, reading LGBTQ+ fiction, and working on any crafty projects.
